Whoever lived there before you may or may not have cleaned for their walk-through. Either way, the inside of the cabinets, the fridge and the closets are where your things are about to go.
Why before the boxes
Once furniture is in, nobody pulls the fridge out or wipes the back of a closet shelf. An empty home lets us reach every cabinet, drawer, baseboard and corner in one visit.
What a move-in clean covers
- Inside every cabinet, drawer and closet, so you unpack onto clean shelves.
- Inside the oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher.
- Bathrooms descaled and sanitized: tub, shower, toilet, tile and grout.
- Ceiling fans, vents and light fixtures dusted.
- Baseboards, doors, frames, switch plates and outlets wiped.
- Windows, sills and door tracks, then every floor vacuumed and mopped.
Older Lake Worth Beach homes
Many Lake Worth Beach homes are older bungalows and cottages with original wood floors, louvered windows and tight closets. Window slats and tracks collect dust and salt-air residue, and older tile grout takes extra scrubbing. We plan for that when we quote.
Just renovated? If contractors worked on the home before you moved in, tell us. Fine construction dust settles on every surface and inside cabinets, and it needs more passes than a standard move-in.
Timing
Book the clean after you get the keys and before the movers arrive. Utilities should be on. With a few days of notice we can usually fit it into the gap.
Move-in cleaning starts at $320, flat priced by size and condition. See the full scope on our move-in / move-out cleaning page, or our Lake Worth Beach house cleaning page for recurring service once you are settled.
