A move-out clean is priced differently from a regular clean because the job is different. The home is empty, and every cabinet, closet, appliance and baseboard gets cleaned so the unit passes a final walk-through.
The starting price
Tidy Mom move-in and move-out cleans start at $320 for smaller homes and apartments across Palm Beach County. The final number is a flat price based on the size and condition of the home, and we confirm it before we book. You are not paying by the hour.
What changes the price
- Size: bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage set the base.
- Condition: a unit left in good shape takes less time than one with built-up grease, soap scum or pet hair.
- Appliances: inside the oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher is included. Heavy oven buildup takes longer.
- Extras: garage sweep-out, patio or balcony, and interior windows on larger homes.
- Timing: same-day or next-day requests depend on availability.
What is included
- Inside all cabinets, drawers and closets.
- Inside the oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher.
- Bathrooms descaled: tub, shower, tile, grout and fixtures.
- Baseboards, doors, frames, switch plates and outlets.
- Interior windows, sills and sliding-door tracks.
- All floors vacuumed and mopped.
Comparing quotes: ask whether the price is flat or hourly, whether inside appliances and cabinets are included, and what happens if the landlord flags something. If anything is flagged within 24 hours, we come back and fix it.
Move-out cleaning vs. losing part of the deposit
For renters, the cost of a move-out clean is usually weighed against the security deposit. A landlord who finds a dirty oven, stained grout or dusty baseboards can deduct the cost of cleaning. A documented, inspection-ready clean takes that question off the table.
